The Neurodiagnostic Services Department at Florida Hospital Tampa provides both invasive and non-invasive neurological diagnostic procedures to inpatients at Florida Hospital Tampa. Outpatient services are also offered at Florida Hospital Tampa, Florida Hospital Carrollwood, Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel and Florida Hospital Long Term Acute Care at Connerton.
We provide diagnostic services to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients with conditions ranging from simple neurological symptoms to severe neurological deficits. These include seizure disorders, strokes, degenerative brain disease, organic causes of mental status changes and other diseases, as well as disorders affecting the central nervous system.
Our Neurodiagnostic Services Department is nationally accredited by the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologists (ABRET) and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is complemented by a fully registered and credentialed technical staff.
